Lorraine Chavez – Paralegal
Lorraine joined the Giddens & Gatton team in late 2016. She is a Paralegal with a career spanning over thirty years. Lorraine’s duties include case research, drafting and electronically filing pleadings, and, most importantly, meeting with and assisting clients. Lorraine’s greatest joy is spending time with her family.
Jennifer Higuera – Legal Assistant
Jennifer joined the firm in 2020. She is currently a Certified Bankruptcy Assistant and is working towards becoming a certified Paralegal. Her duties include helping clients prepare to file bankruptcy, conducting legal research, and drafting and reviewing various legal documents for the attorneys. Jennifer is also a native New Mexican and loves living in Albuquerque. In her spare time she enjoys watching her three girls play sports and exploring local restaurants and breweries with her husband.
Diane Duran – Administrative & Marketing Coordinator
Diane oversees all of the firm’s marketing projects which include managing the firm’s online presence, managing relationships with external vendors, and coordinating the firm’s participation in community outreach events. She also assists the office manager and legal staff with other administrative tasks such as new hire training and IT troubleshooting.
Originally from San Antonio, TX, she moved to Albuquerque in 2010 and has worked at Giddens & Gatton Law, PC since 2014. In her spare time, Diane enjoys crafting, baking and attending local events with her husband and their 3 children
Denise DeBlassie-Gallegos – Office Manager
Denise manages the business functions as well as the overall operations of the office and has worked in the legal field for most of her career. She is an enthusiastic professional with extensive work experience in the areas of Financial, Human Resources, Systems, Operational and Practice Management.
Denise’s passion and dedication is in helping and contributing in the firm’s continued success. As she is a driven professional with a no-nonsense approach, Denise exceeds Work/Life balance expectations in achieving and insuring her professional and personal goals are met. Hard work and dedicated service go into everything Denise does.
Donnette Alderete – Receptionist
Donnette joined Giddens & Gatton Law, P.C. in November 2016 and has worked in the legal field for 16 years. Her main priority is to assure that each client feels welcome and confident while they in our office. Donnette is a native New Mexican and loves living life in the Land of Enchantment. In her spare time she also enjoys working out and keeping Fit and Fabulous!
Gregorita Quintana – Document Clerk
Rita joined the Giddens & Gatton team in December of 2017. Her primary duties include organizing and maintaining all of the electronic & hard copy files for the office as well as assisting the legal assistants with client case updates. Rita was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has a medical background in various positions and is also bilingual. Rita is a team player that enjoys helping others succeed and also enjoys being positive in everything she does.
